Projection and Mobility

HELPED's crisis logistics must be able to reach and install resources at sites that are sometimes inaccessible, even with high road mobility, as quickly and as far away as possible.

These air transport requirements can be met by cargo aircraft, transport helicopters, logistics drones, and in the future, even by new-generation airships.

Projection requires loading and unloading capacities, special packaging, and ground preparation ranging from simple stabilization to trafficability and earthworks.

MANITOU (GICAT member)

MANITOU offers all-terrain, compact, versatile, air transportable handling and lifting solutions that meet your logistics needs during any crisis management. For example, the rough terrain telehandler MLT 625 (transportable in a 20-feet ISO container) lifts loads of 2.5 tonnes to a height of 6 metres height (pictured in the foreground). Also capable of high land mobility and operating in extreme conditions, the MHT 10200 is capable of lifting containers (20 tonne capacity at 10 metres height). Manitou also has a range of unique solutions for lifting people and handling loads for aeronautical maintenance.

Ampliroll Hooklift

Since the 1990’s, Marrel has been developing original ISO container transport and loading equipment and STANAG 2413-compliant military flatracks for the armed forces.
A cleverly designed Ampliroll® hooklift means the container handling frame can be stored behind the cab and the hooklift also transfers and loads onto the trailer.
The handling frame can be swapped for a Fassi crane.

Inflatable Foldable Boats

SILLINGER (GICAT member)

Since 1962, SILLINGER develop and manufacture in France professional pneumatic foldable boats, for which safety and reliability are the fundamental characteristics. All boats can be customized on demand to answer all customer requirements.
The UM & SRD ranges can be easily deployed in any remote place in critical situations such as floods, plane crash in wetlands, shipwreck…

Motorized Floating Bridge

CNIM (GICAT member)

The Motorized Floating Bridge (PFM) is a solution dedicated to continuous or discontinuous crossing of wet gaps (lakes, rivers) for MLC 90T / 100 W class vehicles (according to STANAG 2021 standards). It can also be used for civilian operations, during natural disasters (severe floods, bridge collapse).
Currently in service in the French Army, the PFM is also the tactical chosen solution of Land Forces. In order to answer the field stakes, two configurations are available: a fixed bridge or a ferry.

Mustmove Ground Mobility Mats

MUSTHANE (GICAT member)

Mustmove mats are rapid deploy and re-usable made of high quality technical textiles coated with a premium elastomer.
The mats prepare the ground for temporary access roads, for vehicle recovery mats, beach access mats, tent floors or helicopter landing areas.

MCE-5 DEVELOPMENT

This new lightweight rapid response vehicle is dedicated to Defense, Security, and Rescue applications. Its main characteristics are velocity, lightweight, and reliability. Its proven design comes from Rally Raid competition, including Dakar, with many victories for a great and well-known team. It is fully configurable based on customer demand : seats capacity, engine, fuel type, equipment, modularity, transportability, accessories, and so on… It is also available with innovative hybrid powertrain : first for fuel saving, but also for operational strengths like stealth and power capacity. MCE-5 DEVELOPMENT is an engineering company which
develops engines, systems, and vehicles. As an example, the team fully designed the VCRi© engine that offers high power, low consumption, and low polluting emissions.

Motorised Floating Bridge

Used for civil or military purposes, both in continuous deck and in ferry, the P.F.M. allows the crossing of watercourses with a simple and rapid implementation.
It consists of modules of 10 metres in length whose assembly forms a continuous floating beam. Each module is powered by two outboard motors.

The TNA is an air droppable (by parachute), super-compact
machine on caterpillar tracks. It ensures the following missions

– Preparation and improvement of airport platforms (levelling,
snow-removal, deforestation, mulching, etc.) to allow
air plane landing and take-off
– The opening and basic landscaping of access routes
– Removal of obstacles on the runway or approaches
– Creation or restoration of lanes for recovering loads

Campfloor™

DESCHAMPS (GICAT member)

Campfloor™ is a light weight transportable roll out matting which can be carried and installed manually in minutes to create temporary walkways.
It improves the stability of the ground under heavy pedestrian traffic and allows vehicle traffic. It stabilizes the soil during long-term deployment, even in extreme weather (rain, mud, snow, sand, dust).

VLRA Tactical Truck VLRA is a family of light tactical vehicles sharing the same all-wheel drive chassis specifically designed for military requirements. Successor to VLRA 1, 12,000 of which have been sold worldwide, it retains the latter’s ruggedness, no-electronics versions, range and low gooseneck chassis.

SCANIA presents the R 500 B8x8HZ vehicle based on the SCANIA modular system. This system allows the design of customized vehicles, adapting to your needs as closely as possible. The proposed R 500 B8x8HZ offers an angle of attack of approximately 30°, tires and a drive train adapted to the off-road and a body allowing to transport a 20-foot container.
