HELPED generally operates in a theater of operations where criminal threats form such a broad spectrum that they are always difficult to apprehend.
An emergency installation is naturally sensitive to this type of threat.

The experience of the defense industry is naturally an asset, and when governance is said to be "impoverished", safety must be managed by protective services and resources that must reduce the vulnerability of facilities and emergency services.
These resources and services must offer a graduated and targeted response to violence, while always respecting human rights.

SACOP

MC2 Technologies (GICAT member)

SACOP is an intelligent mobile corridor composed of 1 or 2 MM-Imager THz cameras allowing a seamless control of a flow of people in real time (600 to 900 people/hour).
MM-Imager is a completely harmless and passive camera that does not emit any wave and respects user privacy. Showcased on HELPED demonstrator at Eurosatory, MM-Imager is part of the equipment that can be deployed for the management of complex and difficult-to-predict crises.
The mobile corridor solution SACOP has been developped in close collaboration with FICHET group, a french leading manufacturer of high-security solutions.

PILAR V

METRAVIB DEFENCE (GICAT member)

PILAR V is an acoustic sensor that detects and locates enemy’s position.
– PILAR V Vehicle Version – Mounted on any armoured vehicle to improve crew and vehicle survivability and enhance situational awareness. PILAR V is intuitive and easy to use. The information is reported through the vehicle’s BMS.
– PILAR V Ground Version – dismounted on ground to protect sensitive sites, military bases, check-points, embassies and buildings. It can also be used to protect a particular event (visit of VIP, meeting of state leaders).
PILAR V is an advanced solution for perimeter protection.

NEMOSYS RANGE

EXAVISION (GICAT member)

Multi-sensors optronic systems (day and thermal cameras) for sensitive sites surveillance, Critical Infrastructures Protection (CIP) and Counter-UAV (CUAV) applications.
In the range, we have for example the NEMOSYS FIRE DUO rugged smart camera which allows image analysis during a continuous 360° scan 24/24. It is able to measure temperature differences to assess the severity of a situation during a fire outbreak.
The camera is equipped with a processing algorithm allowing the detection in real time of hot spots according to configurable thresholds.

ORION 2 Tethered UAS

ELISTAIR

The ORION 2 is a by-design tethered drone system built to endure extended flight time with its persistent focused safety architecture and automated flight profiles. It meets the needs of aerial surveillance and persistent telecommunications for military applications (perimeter protection, border surveillance, tactical communications, etc.). Able to operate at 100 m above ground with its day/night stabilized camera, or communications relay. Its micro-tether supplies it with continuous power and guarantees secure high-speed data transfer.

SAFE-T 2 and LIGH-T Tethered Drones Stations

ELISTAIR

SAFE-T 2 is an advanced tethered station for UAVs, offering real-time persistent observation and surveillance capabilities at altitudes of up to 100 meters above ground. Compatible with commercially available drones and payloads on the market, the system is especially suited for day – night aerial surveillance and telecommunications (Fibre optics, 4G, Wi-Fi, radio). Ligh-T 4 is a compact and man portable tethered station for drones. Quickly connected to a wide range of drones, the Ligh-T 4 offers continuous aerial observation capabilities to first responders and drone operators who need to fly longer than a standard battery charge.
Easy to transport and to use, the LIGH-T 4 is the perfect tool to enlarge commercial drones potential with hours of autonomy and increased safety thanks to its micro-tether technology.

SPART

SPART – Smart Protection Active Reactive Technology – is an intelligent jamming solution that can neutralize one or more threats simultaneously. Focused on the fight against RCIEDs, which today represent a permanent threat to populations and intervention forces, SPART is a compact and easy-to-carry device that can be used by humanitarian organisations to protect their operations in difficult areas.
The device is configured prior to an operation, allowing to neutralize threats simultaneously, with a real-time listening capability. SPART’s development was carried out with the advice of the DGA.

BALLISTIC PROTECTIONS

PROTECOP (GICAT member)

Protecop designs and manufactures ballistic protections from level IIIA to IV NIJ. The ballistic vests are quick release and equipped with functional universal multi-purpose pockets attaching system. In option you can add ballistic arm, collar and pelvic protectors.
Our level IV ballistic protection plates available in ICW or SA and in different sizes.
Protecop also offers ballistic protections such as shoulder, leg and thigh protectors that can complete the protection of the combatant.

NEROD RF

NEROD RF is a mobile counter-UAV solution efficient against 98% of commercial drones. Perfectly adapted to mobile troops and for the protection of sensitive infrastructures, NEROD RF is used like a normal rifle. By targeting the threat and activating the rifle with its trigger, it can jam any possible threat in a directional emission cone. NEROD RF is the brand new generation of anti-drone rifle, jamming on 7 frequency bands and succeeding NEROD F5. It has been developped in close collaboration with the armed forces to meet the requirements in the field.

Auxilia develops a deep learning software which automatically detects all hidden threats on X-Ray images. Today, 95% of arms and explosives remain undetected at security checks according to the Government of the United States. Our plug-and-play solution improves detection and acceleration flows in secured areas such as international organisations satellites, refugee camps and public institutions in countries facing unsteadiness. We also support police and military sites, airports and sensitive operators.

BACKSCATTER X-RAY IMAGER PX1

FONDIS ELECTRONIC

Handheld non-intrusive inspection system (NIIS) that detects hidden threats during customs, airport, technical surveillance countermeasures, mine detection, baggage or suspicious package control and more. Designed for field use, the backscatter x-ray imager PX1 enables to visualize in real time anomalies or objects through various materials such as iron, marble, wood, cement and even steel, for a fast and efficient inspection.

Ground Bomb Killer / First Response in case of IEDs

Semaworld (GICAT member)

The Ground Bomb Killer is the first response in case of any unattended item in a public area, inside or outside. It’s a double flexible crown with 2 handles on the top to put it over the item.
The security perimeter can be done with more safely. The target is to protect people and buildings.
In case of explosion the GBK canalizes upwards the fire and blast effects and reduce considerably the lateral fragmentation.
For the EOD squad they will be able to scan the item inside the GBK with a portable X-ray or use explosive dogs.
The GBK can be put on place with different robots too.

NERVA-LG Microrobot

NEXTER ROBOTICS (GICAT member)

NERVA-LG is a robust multipurpose Robotic System used for first responding in crisis management. The system can be esaily configured on the field in less than 1 minute to address the current situation: with wheels or tracks depending on the local terrain; with various CBRN-e sensors depending on the crisis type; with additional functionalities if required (2D mapping, indoor localization, radio or fiber optic link with control station…). Operation of NERVA-LG is highly intuitive and does not need intensive training.

SOUVIM-XP

SERA INGENIERIE

Road clearance vehicle used to open and secure mined roads for convoys at high speed. Used by the French army, the vehicle has a dual capabality and could also bu used for humanitarian purpose.
There is a high number of civilian victims with tragical consequences of the population: displacement, schools and public services closure. The positive contribution would be the return of the State in former in-conflict territorries, population protection, securisation of the communication axis between local and transnational areas, fast area cleaning to re-instore daily life places, markets…

ROCUS

ROCUS – Route Clearance Unmanned System.
In the current conflicts, IEDs are responsible for many human fatalities and the destruction of military assets.
Faced with the problem of improvised explosive devices (IED), ROCUS, Route Clearance Unmanned System, supports forces by drastically reducing their exposure to threats and allowing them to carry out their mission.
Able to operate in difficult terrain, combining endurance and robustness, ROCUS, Route Clearance Unmanned System, allows threat to be inspected, confirmed and neutralized to ensure the safety of soldiers and the advance of convoys.

DEMINING SUIT

PROTECOP (GICAT member)

The demining suit is designed for recognition in a standing position and mine clearance operations. These dé-mining operations are particularly dangerous for the sappers who intervene as close as possible to the threat occured by mines, submunitions, ammunition and explosive devices. The suit offers a 360° protection against shrapnel as defined by STANAG 2920 (V50 = 450 m/s) and ergonomics compatible with all demining operations.
A special training suit is also available.

DxS

FOSINA

FOSINA is specialized in distributed fiber optic sensing systems.
Our 40 years expertise extends from design to commercialization of interrogators resistant to harsh environments and capable of monitoring temperature, strain, and vibrations over tens of kilometers along the fiber (used as a sensor), with meter accuracy in a single interrogator called DxS.
By combining our DxS and our artificial intelligence-based software, FOSINA helps its customers to monitor their infrastructures and the environment in which they are located
by detecting, identifying and classifying events in real-time. DxS is used to detect Tsunami and Earthquake.
